Operation & Mixing Best Practices:

Because this machine is designed to work efficiently with Sqwincher Liquid Concentrates, maintaining the right sugar/mix ratio is critical:

• The Golden Ratio: Slush machines require an exact sugar/water ratio (typically 4 parts water to 1 part syrup) to freeze correctly. Never run the machine with water only, as plain water will freeze into a solid block of ice and break the internal auger/gearbox.
• Freezing Time: Depending on your ambient environment temperature, expect the liquid to take anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes to reach full slush consistency.
• Ventilation: Always ensure there is at least 15 cm (6+ inches) of free space around the machine's side vents. If the vents are blocked, the machine will heat-soak, drastically slowing down freeze times.
